Tips:
1) Get the song tempo using an app like DJ Player
2) Do not do jumps to songs faster then 85bpm. bpm is the same as rpm btw!
3) Have a plan and know the song (jumps the entire song, or just for part, what are the jump intervals, etc.)
4) You count the beat every time your right leg comes over the top
5) Count down, not up
6) Start your count down on an even number like 8, 4 or 2 since music is written on even counts (8 specifically), but for some 3, 2, 1 works for those that hear beat
7) Don’t count the entire time after you’ve told the class what intervals you’re doing
8) Try to have people switch the jump lead leg for a drill with lots of jumps
