Stop, pop and drop it! This is one of the best Drop Set Strength Training Workouts, designed by trainer Mere W, to build strength and develop long lean muscles. For this doozy, I dare you to grab a set of dumbbells that are heavy enough to really challenge you – something you have to dig down deep just to get 5 to 8 reps with. You in? Great! Once we’re done with those, we’ll drop down to your next lightest set of dumbbells to eek out a few more reps. Then we’ll do it again with your lightest set of weights, where we’ll knock reps out until we really feel the burn, reaching for failure. Between these top drop set exercises, we’ll add in a few cardio bursts to keep that heart rate elevated and the calories burning for good measure. Grab your weights and let’s get our sexy swull on.
*Don’t forget to stretch!*

Once you’re all warmed up, it’s GO TIME! Go, Go, GO in this fast-paced, SWEAT-y treadmill and sculpt workout (with a Spin bike option!) that packs in intervals of killer cardio with full-body, muscle-toning dumbbell work. On the tread/bike, you’ll push through hill-repeaters or resistance and cadence push sets. Quickly hopping off the tread/bike, you’ll knock out 50-second power-building sets with short transitions. The pace is set, let’s goooo!
Format: Dynamic floor warm-up, then alternating cardio+sculpt+cardio+sculpt+cardio, followed by a cool-down stretch.

WARNING LABEL: This training is meant for more advanced fitness levels.
Does that mean you shouldn’t try it if you don’t consider yourself crazy athletic? Well no, it doesn’t mean that. You don’t know if you don’t try. You might grab lighter weights than suggested, or do 20 reps to our 30, or you might do half today, and half tomorrow, or you might just say “Forget that! I’m not doin’ it!”. Ha.
“It” means “Cat Kom’s Dirty Thirty, Dirty Dozen” where she takes 12 exercises (some traditional and some creative) and has you do 30 reps in a row, plus some “fun” transition drills between each. It’s a killer full body workout. You might need a swear jar handy by the way. Put a quarter in it each time you even think about cussing, then donate the $ to a good cause, which might just mean a new pair of smaller skinny jeans. 🙂
